Privacy
policy.

This policy explains what personal data we collect through vitaland.life, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We are a farm and an exporter, not a data business: we only use your details to answer you and to do business with you.

01Who we are

The website vitaland.life is operated by VITALEND LLC, trading as VitaLand. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

This policy follows the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Protection of Personal Data. Where they apply to you, we also respect the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

02What data we collect

Data you give us. When you send a request through the form, write to us by email or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you choose to share: your name, company, job title, email address, phone number, country, and the content of your message (for example products, volumes and delivery terms).

Data collected automatically. Like any website, our hosting platform records technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page you came from, and the date and time of your visit. We see this data only in anonymous, summarised visit statistics.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive data (such as health, religion or political views). The website is meant for business buyers and is not directed at children under 16.

03Why we use it

  • To answer your request and send prices, availability, samples or a quote. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and your consent when you contact us.
  • To conclude and carry out a contract with you or your company: orders, shipping, documents and payments. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • To keep business correspondence and follow up on our discussions. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running our export business.
  • To keep the website working and secure and understand overall traffic. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.
  • To meet legal duties, such as tax, accounting and customs records. Legal basis: legal obligation.

We do not sell your data, we do not send newsletters without your consent, and we do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

04Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Our website uses:

  • Necessary cookies set by our website platform, Tilda, so that the pages and the form work correctly.
  • Map cookies set by Yandex when the map on our Contacts page loads. Yandex uses them under its own privacy policy.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work, though the map may not display.

05Who else sees it

We do not share your data with other companies for their own purposes. Only these service providers process it on our behalf, to the extent needed for their service:

  • Tilda Publishing — website platform; processes form submissions and technical visit data.
  • GoDaddy — email hosting for our mailboxes, where form requests and correspondence are stored.
  • Yandex — the map on the Contacts page.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp; your messages are then also processed under WhatsApp's own terms.

We may also disclose data to public authorities when the law requires it.

06International transfers

Some of our service providers store or process data outside Armenia and outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on safeguards recognised by law, such as standard contractual clauses offered by the provider, or on the transfer being necessary to answer your request or perform a contract with you.

07How long we keep it

  • Requests and correspondence that did not lead to a contract: up to 3 years from our last contact, then deleted.
  • Contracts, invoices and shipping documents: for as long as Armenian tax and accounting law requires.
  • Technical visit data: for the short periods set by our hosting platform.

08Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you whether we hold your data and give you a copy;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • delete your data, or restrict how we use it;
  • stop using your data for a purpose based on our legitimate interest;
  • give you your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before.

Write to sales@vitaland.life. We will reply within the time set by the law that applies to you, and no later than one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

You can also complain to a supervisory authority: in Armenia, the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Ministry of Justice; in the EU, the data protection authority of your country; in the UAE, the UAE Data Office.

09Security

The website runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to our mailboxes and records is limited to the people at VitaLand who handle sales and orders, and is password-protected. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

10Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our website or services change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
